Observing Ramadhan

Today is the 5th day of the Ramadhan and so far I realised that my schedule for the past few days has been somewhat chaotic and not so efficient. For one, my sleep now is interrupted by a small gap in the wee hours of the morning to observe the Imsak of which I would usually take some light meals before dawn. Secondly, leaving office in between 5pm and breaking fast which nowadays fall about 7.20pm means having to battle the infamous crawl at two bottlenecks i.e. Jalan Bangsar and Jalan Damansara heading towards Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

I have yet to take the opportunity to explore many of the Ramadhan bazaars that dot all over Klang Valley as I used to do. My favourite haunts for some local delicacies in Ramadhan would be the Seksyen 14, Taman Tun Dr Ismail bazaar as well as the infamous Kampung Bharu Ramadhan bazaar.

A few favourites are Nasi Kerabu (rice with a variety of salad mix and served with some side curry usually fish), local kuih-muih and ayam percik.
