Nuzul Al Quran

7th September 2009 marks the day of the 17th day of the Ramadhan this year, and this is also known as the Nuzul Al Quran (the revelation of the Quran). The Holy Quran is also known by a few other names – Al Huda, Al Furqan, Qalimullah and Al kitab, among others. This commemorative date was known to the Muslims as when the Quranic verses were first revealed to Prophet Muhammad SAW in Hira’ cave.

The Prime Minister blogged on how the main message of celebration on this holy day should be reflected as to serve as to guide, to promote knowledge and to apply these knowledge in a holistic manner.
